I enjoy many types of photography and love shooting new and interesting subjects. I have worked professionally as a Photojournalist, Photo Editor, Portrait Photographer, Aerial Photographer, Real Estate Photographer, Wedding Photographer and most recently an Automobile Photographer. I strive to capture beauty through my images and always foster a great appreciation for the natural world.
I have been working full time as a professional photographer for over a decade now. I learned much of my craft through the formal education of art school and by working for "The Oklahoma Daily" newspaper as a Photojournalist and Photo Editor. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2006, where I majored in Media: Film/Photo/Video at the Fred Jones Jr. School of Art and earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Art.
After graduation, I moved to Seattle, Washington and found an opportunity to travel the country as an Aerial Photographer. I flew around the United States for the next 9 years photographing real estate from a Robinson R22 helicopter. My pilot and I would fly at around 500 feet looking for pride of ownership in people's homes, farms and businesses. I also captured many natural landscape images and aircraft photos along the way.
I currently work as the Merchandising Manager for two large dealerships in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I photograph hundreds of cars, trucks and SUV's every month in a photo booth and upload these photos to the web for internet shoppers to take a virtual test drive before they buy. I have been doing this work for over two years and it keeps me very busy during the week.
I am available for freelance photography work on the weekends including weddings, engagements, portraits, parties, concerts, performances, sporting events, car shows and any other interesting events that require high quality images. I look forward to meeting with you and providing you with lasting memories through the Art of Photography.
